Abstract: An icemaker and a refrigerator having the same are provided to guide cool air to be supplied directly to a bottom of an ice making tray to cool the ice making tray promptly, thereby reducing ice making time. After sensing a temperature of the supplement storage chamber, the supplement storage chamber is forcedly heated by a heat supply element until the temperature of the supplement storage chamber reaches the highest limit temperature during the heating, if the sensed temperature is lower than the lowest limit temperature(S100-S130). The supplement storage chamber is forcedly cooled by a chilled air supply element until the temperature of the supplement storage chamber reaches the lowest limit temperature during the cooling if the temperature thereof reaches to the highest limit temperature(S40-S70).

Abstract: A refrigerator and a method to add moisture are provided to improve an effect of a humidification by generating a water vapor as driving an ultrasonic vibrator.
