Abstract:
PURPOSE: A method for realizing a dynamic keyboard on a pen computing system is provided to adjust a soft keyboard of a fixed size by a simple dragging operation of the pen, and to display the soft keyboard and change a position of the soft keyboard by considering four directions of a touch screen. CONSTITUTION: A display screen(110) displays the soft keyboard. A dynamic keyboard generator(120) calculates display information changed on the display screen in case that the size or the position of the soft keyboard displayed on the display screen is changed. An input detector(130) provides a matched signal if the user touches a transparent input screen placed on the display screen by using a pen. In the case that the size or the position of the soft keyboard is changed, a controller(140) processes the data according to each selection area by matching the signal from the input detector with the selection area for the keys formed in the soft keyboard.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A ranging interval and ranging sub channel allocation method for initial ranging of an orthogonal frequency division multiple access(OFDMA) system is provided, which reduces ICI(Inter-Channel Interference) between ranging signals in a TDD mode OFDMA wireless communication system. CONSTITUTION: According to the method for allocating ranging interval for initial ranging with a subscriber station in a base station of a multi user orthogonal frequency division multiple access(OFDMA) wireless communication system, a receiving interval of an initial ranging signal is determined by reflecting maximum delay predicted while transmitting and receiving data with the subscriber station. System information required in the initial ranging including the determined receiving interval are broadcasted to all subscriber stations in a cell through a broadcasting channel. And the initial ranging signal from the subscriber stations is received in correspondence to the system information as to all symbols received from the subscriber stations in the determined receiving interval.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A device and a method for transmitting HI(HS-DSCH(High Speed-Downlink Shared CHannel) Indicator) in a communication system using HSDPA(High Speed Downlink Packet Access) are provided to increase the transmission strength though a transmission error is generated in a slot of HI transmission by extending and transmitting the HI, so that a UE(User Element) can receive corresponding high speed downlink packet service data. CONSTITUTION: A data-1 field and a data-2 field transmit data for supporting operations of higher layers or supporting a dedicated service such as voice. A TPC(Transfer Power Control) field transmits a downlink TPC command for controlling uplink transfer power. A TFCI(Transfer Format Combination Indicator) field transmits transfer format combination information of the data-1 field and the data-2 field. A pilot field, that is a field transmitting a pilot symbol string pre-promised in a system, is used for a UE to estimate a downlink channel state. And an HI for an HSDPA service is transmitted to the UE through a newly defined field in an existing downlink dedicated physical channel.

본 발명은 전자 장치에서 어플리케이션(application) 업데이트(update)에 대한 것으로, 상기 전자 장치에 설치된 어플리케이션을 업데이트하는 방법은, 어플리케이션에 대한 업데이트가 필요함을 알리는 업데이트 통지(update notification)를 차단(intercept)하는 과정과, 업데이트 정책에 따른 업데이트 조건이 만족되는지 여부를 판단하는 과정과, 상기 업데이트 조건이 만족되지 아니하면, 다음 판단 시점까지 상기 업데이트 통지의 전달을 지연시키는 과정을 포함한다.
