Abstract: PURPOSE: A display device, and a source device and a method thereof are provided to display a content in an optimal state, by adaptively adjusting a screen size of the content depending on a type of the content. CONSTITUTION: A reception unit (110) receives content data. A storage unit (130) stores frame size information which is matched to each content type. A detection unit (120) detects content type information included in the content data. A video processing unit (141) forms a content frame whose size corresponds to the detected content type information based on the stored frame size information. A display unit (150) displays the content frame.
