Abstract: An apparatus and a method of forming a color filter are provided to readily find a pixel, in which a sufficiently thick color filter is not formed, after injecting color ink. An apparatus for forming a color filter includes a stage(10), a support frame(20), a mask(30) and an injector(40). The stage allows a substrate to be mounted thereon. The support frame is disposed on the stage. The mask is mounted on the support frame and spaced apart from the substrate. The injector injects color ink onto the substrate. The substrate has a plurality of openings into which different colors of ink are inserted. The mask has a plurality of holes overlapping the openings and filled with the same colors of ink. The holes are separately formed along a region in which the holes overlap the openings. The holes are formed to include a region for connecting the openings in one direction.

Abstract: Provided a polymer resin binder of an ink-jet ink for a color filter which improves the dispersion and dispersion stability of a pigment in an ink, a pigment dispersion solution of an ink-jet ink for a color filter containing the binder, and an ink-jet ink for a color filter using the pigment dispersion solution. The polymer resin binder is prepared by polymerizing a plurality of functional monomers and comprises an amine-based organic material represented by [N-Hx-Ry], wherein R is a C1-C20 alkyl group, a C1-C10 alkoxy group, a C6-C20 aryl group, a C6-C10 aryloxy group, a C2-C20 alkenyl group, a C7-C40 alkylaryl group, a C7-C40 arylalkyl group, a C8-C40 arylalkenyl group, or a C2-C10 alkynyl group; x is 0-2; y is 1-3; and x+y is 3. Preferably the functional monomer comprises styrene or benzyl methacrylate, and methacrylic acid, acrylic acid or acrylamide.
