Abstract: 본 발명은 가속도계를 이용한 이동체의 속력측정장치 및 그 방법에 관한 것으로서, 가속도계의 측정데이터를 분석하여 이동체의 정지여부를 판단하고 상기 이동체가 정지상태라고 판단하는 과정과, 상기 가속도계의 측정데이터 분석결과 이동체가 주행 중이라고 판단된 경우 상기 가속도계의 측정데이터를 이용하여 도로각의 크기를 연산하는 과정과, 상기 도로각의 크기가 소정 임계치 이상인 경우 그 도로각의 부호를 결정하는 과정과, 상기 도로각을 이용하여 상기 가속도계의 측정데이터에 포함된 중력가속도 성분을 보상하는 과정과, 상기 중력가속도 성분이 보상된 이동체의 가속도 값에 의거하여 이동체의 속력을 계산하는 과정을 포함한다. 따라서, 본발명은 차량용 속력측정장치의 구현에 있어서 고가인 자이로의 개수를 줄임으로써 비용절감의 효과가 있다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A navigation system using a paging channel and a method for providing traffic information thereof are provided to search an optimum path by using the real-time traffic information. CONSTITUTION: A navigation system using a paging channel includes a BSC(Base Station Controller) traffic server and a BSC. The BSC traffic server(200) is used for extracting periodically the traffic information within a BSC region, unifying the extracted traffic information, and transmitting the traffic information to a predetermined region controlled by the BSC. The BSC(300) is used for receiving the traffic information from the BSC traffic server and inserting the traffic information into a paging channel of a mobile communication terminal.
