PURPOSE: An IMS(IP Multimedia Subsystem) based Vote function support method, vote function support system, and portable terminal thereof are provided to support the operation of a selective vote function between portable terminals of a messenger group. CONSTITUTION: An IMS server(300) supports a manager service. A transmission side terminal(101) connects the IMS server. The transmission side terminal creates a vote message based on a messenger function. One or more reception terminals(102) contact to the IMS server. The transmission side terminal receives the vote message. A network system(200) creates a communication channel between the IMS server and the portable terminals.

A VoIP(Voice over Internet Protocol) video call apparatus and method are provided to prevent a waste of a bandwidth by transmitting/receiving only previously defined index rather than transmitting an image in a real time data format of state information of a user and that of a terminal. A memory unit(120) maps at least one image to an index of a video event related to state of a user or state of a terminal and stores the mapped result. A session establishing unit(160) establishes a session between terminals by using session establishment information which defines the video event. A video event processing unit(180) transmits/receives a data packet including the video event index, searches an image mapped to the video event index included in the received data packet from the memory unit(120) and outputs it.

PURPOSE: A device and a method for automatically transmitting an emoticon during a video call in a mobile communication terminal are provided to automatically transmit an emoticon to a counterpart terminal using GPS information during a video call. CONSTITUTION: A memory(111) stores combined data corresponding to location information. A GPS(Global Positioning System) receiver(123) receives location information during a video call. A combining unit(100) searches the combined data corresponding to the location information received from the memory. The combining unit combines video data photographed by a camera with the searched combined data. The combining unit generates final combined data.

A container for scattering an electromagnetic wave is provided to reduce influence of the electromagnetic wave strength on a surrounding electric and electronic device by using a dielectric having a high processing property as an exterior container. In a container for scattering an electromagnetic wave, a housing container forms an external appearance of an electric and electronic device generating the electromagnetic wave. An irregular surface is formed repeatedly in an embossed or depressed shape on an inner wall of the container. The irregular surface is made of a dielectric. The irregular surface scatters the electromagnetic wave generated from the inside of the electric and electronic device. The irregular surface is formed by repeating a hemispheric surface and a semi-oval surface at regular intervals.
