Abstract: A system and a method for providing RLS notification standards for multiple presentities are provided to enable a user to assign when or how a RLS generates notification to optimize the notification, thereby providing a good experience to the user and reducing service cost. A method for providing RLS(Resource List Server) notification standards for multiple presentities comprises the following steps of: allowing a watcher(10) to transmit a subscriber request for requesting the presence information of presentities of a group(300); allowing a RLS(20) to transmit the subscriber request to the presentities of the group and receive corresponding presence information from the presentities of the group(310,315); allowing the RLS to determine whether stored RLS notification standards are satisfied(350,375); and allowing the RLS to integrate the notified presence information when the RLS notification standards are satisfied and transmit the notified presence information to the watcher(380).

Abstract: 본 발명은 사용자로 하여금 RLS가 언제 어떻게 NOTIFY 요청을 발생시켜야 하는지에 대한 선택을 지정할 수 있도록 하는 시스템과 방법을 제안한다. 그 결과, 불필요하고 때로는 짜증나게 하는 통보를 피함으로써 프레전스 통보를 최적화한다. 이는 사용자가 초기 SIP SUBSCRIBE에서 RLS 통보 규칙기준을 지정하게 함으로써 가능하다. 이에 따라 본 발명은 와처가 SIP SUBSCRIBE에서 필터를 지정하도록 지원한다. 또한, 본 발명은 그러한 RLS 통보 기준규칙이 SIP SUBSCRIBE에 존재할 때 예상되는 RLS의 동작을 지시한다.

Abstract: A system and a method for managing a user preference profile are provided to reduce complexity for setting, maintaining, and managing a service, and the number of publishing service setting to an application server by storing various kinds of application service settings to a shared space and managing the application service settings in the shared space. A system comprises application clients, the applications respectively matching with the application clients, and an application server, and a shared server storing/managing the user preference file for the respective applications. The application client activates and provides the user preference files stored in the shared server to the application server. The application client generates/stores the user preference file to the shared server, or modifies the user preference file stored in the shared server. The shared server is an XDM(XML(eXtensible Markup Language) Document Management) server(360). An XDM client(340) is connected to the XDM server through an aggregation proxy(350) and manages the user preference file by connecting to the application client through an SIP(Session Initiation Protocol)/IP(Internet Protocol) core(330).
