Abstract: PURPOSE: A portable terminal including a touch screen and content display method are provided to enable a user to effectively select content by enabling the user to easily control the content. CONSTITUTION: A touch screen(110) includes a display unit(113) which displays content and a touch sensor(115) which senses a touch signal for the content. When the movement of the touch signal is sensed by the touch sensor, a control unit(120) calculates display change physical quantity according to the movement of the touch signal. When the pause of the touch movement is sensed, the control unit successively changes and displays the displayed content by controlling the display unit. The display change quantity is the speed or the distance of the touch movement.
