PURPOSE: An image forming apparatus is provided to reduce the evaporation of ink in a nozzle unit of a head chip by individually covering a plurality of head chip module in a printer head with a plurality of sub-covers. CONSTITUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises: a head chip module(21) which comprises a plurality of head chips(211); and a plurality of sub-covers which individually cover a plurality of head chip modules, is installed in a main cover(41), is elastically supported by an elastic member. One end of the elastic member is installed in a supporting member and the other end is installed in the sub-cover with passing through the main cover. The main cover covers the head chips.

PURPOSE: An inkjet image forming device and a control method thereof are provided to improve cleaning efficiency of a printer head by cleaning the printer head according to a state of ink attached to a nozzle of the printer head. CONSTITUTION: A printer head(30) includes a nozzle(31) for injecting ink. An ultrasonic cleaning device(100) washes the nozzle. A controller includes a plurality of washing modes for washing the nozzle based on an exposure time of the ink attached to the surface of the nozzle. The washing mode includes a general washing mode and an ultrasonic cleaning mode. The general washing mode includes more than one of spitting, wiping, and suction. The ultrasonic cleaning mode includes a mode for cleaning the nozzle by forming a water column with vibration.

PURPOSE: An image reading device, an image forming device including the same, and a method for controlling image quality of the image reading device are provided to prevent a white screen of a light guide by separating a light guide from a light emission device. CONSTITUTION: A reading unit is installed on the lower side of a document stand. At least one light guide(141) emits light to a document. The reading part of the reading unit includes a plurality of light emitting devices(145). The light emission device is separated from both sides of the light guide. An image sensor receives light from the reading unit. The image reading device increases the intensity of current supplied to the light emission device according as the space between the light emission device and the light guide becomes wider.

An inkjet head cleaning device and an inkjet image forming apparatus having the same are provided to improve a cleaning solution circulating structure to collect a cleaning solution left on a cleaning solution flow path. An inkjet head cleaning device includes a cleaning solution storage tank(110), a cleaning tub(120) in which an oscillator(121) is located, an outer container(130) for receiving cleaning solution overflowing the cleaning tub, a first cleaning solution flow path(140) connecting the storage tank to the cleaning tub, a second cleaning solution flow path(150) connecting the outer container to the storage tank, a first pumping part(160a) provided on the first cleaning solution flow path, and a second pumping part(160b) provided on the second cleaning solution flow path.
