Abstract:
본 발명은 다중안테나 시스템에서 신호검출을 위한 수신장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 다중안테나 시스템에서 신호검출을 위한 수신장치는, 제 1 신호부분과 제 2 신호부분을 분리한 후, 상기 제 1 신호부분의 역행렬이 반복 신호검출 과정에 상관없이 일정한 상수 값을 갖도록 행렬 반전 정리(Matrix Inversion Lemma)를 이용하여 MMSE(Minimum Mean Squared Error) 필터계수를 계산하는 필터계수 계산부와, 상기 MMSE 필터 계수를 이용하여 간섭이 제거된 수신신호로부터 해당 송신신호를 검출하는 신호 검출기를 포함하여, MMSE-SIC 기반으로 신호검출을 할 시, 신호검출을 위해 필요한 역행렬 계산 횟수를 줄임으로써, 수신기의 복잡도를 낮출 수 있다. 다중안테나, 최소평균제곱오차(Minimum Mean Squared Error:MMSE), 연판정 기반 간섭제거(Soft Interference Cancellation:SIC).
Abstract:
PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for compensating phase error in a wireless communication system are provided to estimate the interference channel between the self interference channel or antenna interference channel. CONSTITUTION: A first channel estimator(403) presumes the channel about each burst using the signal received from the transmit modem and the signal received from the CPE compensator. A phase compensator(405) compares phase toward the channel of each burst received from the first channel estimator. The phase compensator compensates the phase difference of bursts. A second channel estimator(407) presumes the interference channel in consideration of the channel of two or more bursts in which the phase difference is compensated.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for deciding a transmission mode in a mobile communication system are provided to implement efficient AMC(Adaptive Modulation and Coding) by determining a predetermined MCS(Modulation and Coding Scheme) level of a terminal through the state information of the terminal. CONSTITUTION: An accumulation and metric calculation unit for high speed(510) outputs a channel estimation value at a high speed mode of a terminal, and an accumulation and metric calculation for low speed(520) outputs a channel estimation value at a low speed mode of the terminal. If the channel estimation value is larger than a critical value at the high speed mode, a metric decision unit(525) estimation the channel estimation value as the channel estimation value at the high speed mode.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A device and a method for interference cancellation in mobile full duplex relay are provided to repetitively estimate and cancel a transmitter interference channel and a circle signal. CONSTITUTION: A receiving modem(130) receives a signal from a base station. An interference channel estimating and controlling unit(140) repetitively performs interference cancellation using a transmitter interference signal from which a circle signal interference is removed in a signal received from the base station. A transmission modem(160) transmits the signal from which the interference is removed.

PURPOSE: A receiving device in a (Multi-Input Multi-Output) wireless communication system and a method thereof are provided to reduce generation of an error by restoring a received signal with repeated decoding through a plurality of decoders in the receiving device. CONSTITUTION: A demodulator(405) demodulates detected signals of a multi antenna signal detector(404). Two or more decoders(406) decodes input signals of the demodulator. A mapper(407) adds up the decoded signals of the demodulator. The mapper creates a feedback signal corresponding to each input signal. The decoder proceeds decoding through addition of the feedback signal about each input signal.

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for selecting a relay station mode in a BWA(Broadband Wireless Access) communication system based on a state of a neighbor terminal are provided to collect a terminal for a relay station by sensing a state of the neighbor terminal according to a service request of the user. CONSTITUTION: A receiver(950) receives a bidding value from a first relay station group in a base station. A controller(915) decides the winner repeater station of one or more auction based on each biding value and the first repeater station population each interference information in an active mode. When the number of users in a winner repeater station of the auction is smaller than the critical value, the controller activates the winner repeater station in a waiting mode.

PURPOSE: A network entry apparatus of a relay station using full duplex in a mobile communication system and a method thereof are provided to enable a base station to recognize a function of a full duplex relay station and assign resources, thereby effectively operating the full duplex relay station. CONSTITUTION: A network entry apparatus of a relay station using full duplex in a mobile communication system and a method thereof comprise the following steps. A capability negotiation process including a full duplex function is performed with a base station. Authentication and registration procedures are performed with the base station(230). An operation parameter setting procedure including the full duplex function is performed with the base station(250).

An apparatus and a method for cooperative diversity in a wireless communication system are provided to alternatively transmit data to two repeaters by enabling a source node to perform an SM(Superposition Modulation) or an HM(Hierarchical Modulation), thereby requiring cooperative diversity while reducing the amount of resources. If information bits exits, a source node(400) hierarchical-modulates B and C after hierarchical-modulating A and B. Then, the source node hierarchical-modulates C and D. During odd-numbered time slots, modulated symbols are transmitted to a first repeater(410). During even-numbered time slots, the modulated symbols are alternatively transmitted to the second repeater(420), and the second repeater demodulates the received modulated symbols through a demodulator(412).

A code book selection device for maximum likelihood detection in a multi input/output wireless communication system and a method thereof are provided to select an optimum precoding matrix with small calculation quantity so that ML(Maximum Likelihood) reception end selects a codebook by using an approximate formula. An operator(204-1 ~ 204-L) calculates a minimum Euclidean distance by substituting multiplying channel matrix and precoding matrix to an approximate formula. A selector(206-1 ~ 206-L) selects the minimum Euclidean distance corresponding to a precoding matrix. A searcher(208) searches the maximum value of minimum Euclidean distances corresponding to usable all precoding matricx. (Ui, H) searches maximum value of the approximate formula about k-th condition. The precoding matrix information corresponding to the maximum value is fed back to a transmitting end.
Abstract:
A method and an apparatus for transmitting/receiving data in a communication system using a repeater are provided to use different frequency re-usage rate in an inner region and an outer region of a cell, and provide an adaptive HDD scheme between a base station and a repeater according to the location of a terminal. When a terminal 3(316) and a repeater 1(314) located in an inner region(310) of a cell communicate with a base station(312), they use the first duplexing method of transmitting/receiving data by using a TDD duplexing scheme in a frequency band 'A'. A terminal 1(302) and a terminal 2(304) located at an outer region(300) of the cell communicate with the base station via the repeater 1(314) or directly communicate with the base station. In this case, the terminal 2 and the repeater 1 communicate by using the second duplexing method of transmitting/receiving data by using a TDD duplexing scheme at a frequency band 'B'. When the terminal 1 located at the outer region and the base station directly communicate, they use the third duplexing scheme of using an FDD scheme in which the frequency band 'B' is used in an uplink interval and the frequency band 'A' is used in a downlink interval.
