Abstract: The present invention relates to a steam generation device which can prevent water from flowing into a kitchen and allow a user to easily treat remaining water and on which a sensor for sensing a lack of the water by measuring the temperature of a heater is mounted and a cooker by using the steam generation device. The cooker includes a main body having a steam supply hole; a chamber which is mounted on the main body and in which the water is stored; a steam generation device supplying steam to the kitchen through the steam supply hole by being mounted on the main body; a supply pump pumping the water from the chamber to the steam generation device; a drain pump pumping the water from the steam generation device to the chamber; and the heater installed in the steam generation device.
