Abstract: A system for searching information based on voice recognition and an information search transceiving method thereof are provided to perform information search in a mobile terminal at a proper speed based on the voice recognition by reducing load of the voice recognition with interconnection between the mobile terminal and a search server. A mobile terminal(100) includes a second keyword list, which is identical with a first keyword list stored in a search server(200), collects voice corresponding to the keyword list, transmits the collected voice to the search server, receives search information corresponding to the voice from the search server, and displays the search information. The search server includes the second keyword list, synchronizes the first keyword list with the second keyword list, extracts the search information corresponding to the received voice by recognizing the voice received from the mobile terminal, and transmits the extracted search information to the mobile terminal. The search server includes a voice recognition engine for recognizing the voice received from the mobile terminal, a server module, a dictionary converting module, and a voice module.
