Abstract: The present invention relates to an application program switching method. The method includes a step in which a terminal executes a first application program and detects manipulation operation inputted by a user, a step in which the terminal provides a second application program placed in another theme group or same theme group as the first application program to the user according to the manipulation operation, and a step in which the terminal starts the second application program when the user executes the second application program by selecting the program. The theme group is an application program set including at least one application program. The method provided by the present invention saves the search time of a user for a correlated application program, making unnecessary the performing of an opening and closing manipulation for multiple application programs with which the user has a correlation level, thereby being capable of simplifying the operation of a terminal including multiple application operations and facilitating the user experience so as to improve use efficiency.
