Abstract: 본 발명은 공기가 유동하는 유로 내에 설치되어 공기 중에 포함된 세균을 살균할 수 있는 이온발생장치에 관한 것이다.
본 발명에 따른 이온발생장치는 공기가 유동하는 유로에 설치되는 유로를 따라 이동하는 공기에 음이온을 공급하는 것으로, 공기 유동방향 상류측에 배치되어 양이온을 발생시키는 양이온 발생부와, 공기 유동방향 하류측에 배치되어 음이온을 발생시키는 음이온 발생부와, 양이온 발생부와 음이온 발생부가 일면에 서로 이격되게 배치되어 있는 바디와, 바디와의 사이를 통해 공기가 유동할 수 있도록 바디의 일면을 이격된 상태로 덮는 커버를 포함하며, 커버는 양이온 발생부를 덮는 제 1 커버부와, 음이온 발생부를 덮는 제 2 커버부를 포함하며, 제 1 커버부는 제 2 커버부에 비하여 바디의 일면에 인접하게 배치되어, 제 1 커버부에 의해 양이온 발생부에서 발생한 양이온의 대부분이 음이온 발생부와 인접한 영역으로 안내되어 음이온 발생장치에서 발생한 음이온과 결합하게 되므로, 이온발생장치 외부로 유출되는 양이온의 수는 대폭 줄어들게 되는 작용효과가 있다.-

Abstract: A window type air conditioner is provided to mount an ion generator in a chilled air outlet path without any arc-shaped cover and provided with air guide elements at both sides for guiding air to pass through the ion generator, thereby carrying out sterilization and deodorization of air effectively without height increase or noise generation caused by the arc-shaped cover. A window type air conditioner includes a chilled air outlet path(20) mounted with an ion generator(30) for sterilization and deodorization via a mounting hole formed at a top plate(5) of a housing(2). A pair of air guide elements(40) are mounted in the chilled air outlet path with a predetermined distance from the ion generator for guiding air through the ion generator, wherein the air guide elements are extended from the top plate downward by a predetermined length.

Abstract: Provided is an ion generating apparatus having a sharp pin type electrode for generating ions and a protective cover for preventing worker from being hurt on the sharp electrode. The ion generating apparatus comprises: a main body(11) of a box shape; a ceramic plate(12) established on the recess of top side of the main body(11); a pin type electrode(13) for generating ions, which is established on the top side of main body(11) being separated at a certain interval from the ceramic plate(12); and a protective cover(20) of a lattice shape protecting worker from being hurt, but not blocking the air flow around the electrode(13), which is made of nonconductive resin material not to affect the metal pin type electrode electromagnetically.

Abstract: An ion generating device is provided to reduce the generated amount of cation more by guiding most of the cation generated from a cation generating portion to be combined with the anions. An ion generating device is installed inside a channel in which air flows and supplies anion for the air moving along the channel. The ion generating device includes a cation generating portion(11a), an anion generating portion(11b), a body(11) and a cover(12). The cation generating portion is disposed on the upstream side of the air flowing direction. The anion generating portion is disposed on the downstream side of the air flowing direction. The cation generating portion and the anion generating portion are disposed on one side of the body to be separated from each other. The cover covers one side of the body.

Abstract: An ion generating device is provided to form a discharge electrode that has an optimized size that is able to generate a large amount of positive ions even if no large amount of voltage is applied. An ion generating device includes a positive ion generating portion(5) and a negative ion generating portion corresponding to the positive ion generating portion. An electric discharge electrode(9) having a thickness of 0.05-0.15mm is installed on the positive ion generating portion. The electric discharge electrode includes a pattern frame(9a), an electrode portion(9c) and one or more discharge needles(9b). The pattern frame constitutes a body of the discharge electrode and forms an electrode line. The electrode portion is installed on one side of the pattern frame. The discharge needles are formed on the pattern frame.
