Abstract: An air conditioner outdoor unit and a method for manufacturing the same, according to the specification of the present invention, includes preparing at least one housing panel; separating the housing panel into an external panel forming the exterior of the air conditioner and a guide unit guiding discharged air through a first punching work; forming a grill on the guide unit through a second punching work; coupling the guide unit to the external panel; and coupling a bellmouth, which guides the discharged air along the outer circumference of the guide unit, on one side of the exterior panel. Abstract: The present invention relates to an air conditioner whose structure is improved for slimness. A part of the present invention comprises a main body that includes an inlet through which an external air enters and an outlet which discharges an internal air; multiple heat exchangers which are installed inside of the main body, where the external air entering through the inlet is heat exchanged; and a cross flow fan which is located between the heat exchanger and the outlet that discharges the air heat-exchanged by the heat exchanger to the outlet. The heat exchangers are located on the rear of a first surface which is a virtual extended surface touching the front side of the cross flow fan, and the centers of the heat exchanger in a forward and backward direction are located between a second surfaces which are virtual extended surfaces touching the first surface and the rear side of the cross flow fan, respectively. The structure of the present invention can maximize the capacity of the heat exchanger and improve space utilization inside of the air conditioner, thereby achieving slimness of the air conditioner.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an indoor unit of an air conditioner and, more specifically, to an indoor unit of an air conditioner with an improved jet flow fan placed inside the indoor unit. The indoor unit of an air conditioner given in the present invention includes: a panel which forms the outer appearance; a jet flow fan which is placed inside the panel; a heat exchanger unit which is placed behind the jet flow fan; an air inlet which is placed behind the heat exchanger unit to suck in air at the rear side of the heat exchanger unit and flow the air into the jet flow fan; and an air outlet which is placed in front of the panel to discharge the air passing through the jet flow fan through the front of the panel. The jet flow fan includes: a hub at the center; multiple wings combined to the outer circumferential surface of the hub; and a bending part with at least one bending side of the multiple wings. The indoor unit of an air conditioner given in the present invention is able to improve the flow efficiency inside the indoor unit and reduce noise by enhancing the structure for sucking in or discharging air and the structure of the jet flow fan as well as reduce the size of an air conditioner thanks to the arrangement of the jet flow fan and the heat exchanger unit.
