Abstract: A VLC(Variable Length Coding) based moving image encoding apparatus is provided to decrease frequency in use of a memory to efficiently use the memory and a bus. A VLC based moving image encoding apparatus includes a macro block(11), an RLC(Run Length Coding) block(12), a formatting block(13), and a FIFO(First In First Out) memory block(14). The macro block receives and stores a motion vector and inter/intra information. The RLC(Run Length Coding) block searches from the statistically highest value to the statistically lowest value of inversely quantized output data and generates a coefficient. The formatting block receives the output of the macro block and the coefficient of the RLC block and generates a bit stream code. The FIFO(First In First Out) memory block receives the bit stream code from the formatting block, stores the bit stream code, and n-burst-transmits the stored bit stream code to a system bus (n is a natural number). When a single frame has an odd number of bit stream codes, a half-word code is padded in the frame to make the number of bit stream code be an even number.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for implementing a speaker phone of a wireless telephone is provided to add a speaker phone function to a base set of the wireless telephone to perform a speaker phone call while transmitting/receiving a call, and to perform a call conversion of a hand set when the call conversion of the hand set is requested even though the speaker phone is busy, so as to maximize a convenience using the wireless telephone. CONSTITUTION: A base set controller checks whether a call attempt from a hand set exists(301). If so, the base set controller controls a hook switch, and converts a mode into a speaker phone call mode(303). If a dialing for setting up a speech path from a hand set is performed, the base set controller attempts to set up the speech path with a corresponding dialing number(305). The base set controller confirms whether the speech path is set up(307). If so, the base set controller performs a speaker phone call(309). If the speech path is not set up, the base set controller returns to the step'(305)'. The base set controller confirms whether a call conversion from the hand set is requested while the speaker phone is busy(311). If so, the base set controller intercepts the speaker phone speech path, and controls the speech path to perform the call conversion to the hand set(313). A next call is performed through ear pieces and a micro phone of the hand set(350).

Abstract: A touch pad having an electromagnetic interference shielding plate is provided to make a touch sensor easily detect not only the near position of a touch but also the distant position of touch. When an surface is touched, a touch plate(130) changes the physical quantity. By sensing the change of the physical quantity, a touch sensor(150) detects the location of the touch. An electromagnetic interference shielding plate(170) is adhered to one side of the touch plate. A plurality of openings(171) are formed on the electromagnetic interference shielding plate. The more openings come close to the touch sensor, the openings expose the touch plate in a low density.
