Abstract: A paper tray removable device including a driving apparatus which receives the paper tray according to the detection of a sensor and an image forming apparatus are provided to increase operational capability by releasing the paper tray from the image forming apparatus by receiving the paper tray. A paper tray removable device comprises a paper tray(110), a sensors (144,146) and a driving apparatus(120). The paper tray is released from the image forming apparatus. The sensor detects the receiving operation or the discharging action of the paper tray. The driving apparatus receives the paper tray by connecting the driving apparatus with the paper tray based on the detection of the sensor.

Abstract: An image forming device is provided to improve the installation structure of a supply cassette for supplying plural printing media automatically, thereby reducing the installation space. A frame(31) is installed at a body of an image forming device. A tray(50) is movably installed at the frame and seen frequently from the body. A stacker(60) is movable installed to the tray. The printing medium is loaded on the stacker. A moving member(70) is movably installed at the frame in order to move the stacker. A driving source(32) is installed at the frame and applies the driving force to the tray and the moving member. The stacker is moved toward four directions in the image forming device body and the installation space is reduced by controlling the installation position of a supply cassette(40). The first rack gear is equipped to the tray and the second rack gear is equipped to the moving member. The first pinion gear is equipped to the frame and connected with the driving source and engaged with the first rack gear. The second pinion gear is connected with the driving source and engaged with the second rack gear.
