Abstract: A stereo output apparatus and an early reflection generating method thereof are provided to realize an early reflection similar to an apparatus reproducing a 5.1 channel sound signal with a two-channel headphone. A direct sound generating unit(110) localizes each of a plurality of sound signals by multiplying the sound signals by an HRTF(Head Related Transfer Function). A first adder(120) combines the sound signals into one sound signal. An early reflection generating unit(130) divides the combined sound signal into two sound signals and generates an inter-aural time delay between the two sound signals. A second adder(160) combines the sound signals outputted from the direct sound generating unit and the early reflection generating unit into one sound signal. A third adder(170) combines the sound signals outputted from the direct sound generating unit and the early reflection generating unit into another sound signal.
