Abstract: A power supply device, a backlight assembly having the same, and a display device are provided to improve the safety of the power supply device, by covering an output terminal of a transformer, which outputs a high voltage, using a safety cover. A power supply device(400) comprises a PCB(Printed Circuit Board)(410), a transformer(420) disposed on the PCB, and a safety cover(430). The transformer transforms a first voltage into a second voltage, and outputs the second voltage. The safety cover covers a region where the second voltage is outputted. The second voltage has a higher level than the first voltage. The transformer includes an output terminal for outputting the second voltage. The PCB includes an output wiring connected to the output terminal and a connector(440) electrically connected to the output wiring. Herein, the safety cover covers the output terminal, the output wiring, and a portion of the connector.
