Abstract: PURPOSE: A washing machine is provided to easily and stably control a clearance between a slider and a lever by rotating a control nut in the process of producing the washing machine, thereby improving the assembling efficiency and keeping the controlled clearance on. CONSTITUTION: A washing machine includes a link unit(90) connecting a drain motor(80) to a drain valve(70) and an operating lever for selectively transmit the power to a rotation tub in a washing tub in association with the driving of the drain motor, wherein the link unit includes a housing(91), of which an end is connected to the drain valve and the other end is connected to the drain motor, formed with a space(91a) for receiving the lever, a slider(92) disposed in the space of the housing to move back and forth, and controlling elements(93,94) disposed at a side of the housing to move the slider for controlling a clearance between the lever and the slider.
