Abstract: An image forming apparatus is provided to enable parts installed in a line in a body frame to be exposed simultaneously by the opening of a cover member, thereby performing maintenance and repair, such as the removal of a jam, in the inside of the body frame. A body frame(10) includes a paper feeding unit(20), a developing unit(30), and a fixing unit(40) detachably, checks the generation of a jam in the detachment direction of the components collectively, and contains and supports the components to remove the jam. A cover member(60) is installed to open and close the inner space of the body frame and exposes the components simultaneously when the cover member is open.

Abstract: An interval control unit, a fusing apparatus, and an image forming apparatus including the same are provided to remove a jammed print medium by adjusting a nip interval through a simple operation. A transfer path of a print medium is formed in a body(110) of an image forming apparatus. The first unit is opposite to the transfer path. The second unit is arranged in the bottom of the first unit in the transfer direction of the print medium. The second unit is movable with regard to the body of the image forming apparatus to open the first unit selectively. An interval control unit controls an interval between the first unit and the transfer path by engaging with the movement of the second unit.
