Abstract:
A magnetic bead extraction device is provided to isolate and purify magnetic beads capturing target biomolecules with a small amount of a buffer solution rapidly by effectively isolating the magnetic beads from a mixture solution of a sample solution and the magnetic beads in a microfluidic system. A magnetic bead extraction device comprises a buffer solution chamber(20) including an inlet(21) and an outlet(22); a sample solution channel(10) which has an inlet(11), an outlet(12), a path in which a sample solution flows, and a connecting portion(15) at a portion of the path to be contacted with to the buffer solution chamber; a magnetic substance(30) which is placed adjacent to the buffer solution chamber and applies the magnetic force to make magnetic beads(51,52) mixed with the sample solution to be flown into the buffer solution chamber, wherein the sample solution channel has a path bent in a V-shape and the connecting portion is placed at the bent portion of the V-shaped path.
Abstract:
A method for detecting the presence of viable cell is provided to repetitively measure whether specific cell is still alive or active after being contact with test materials with high accuracy and sensitivity. The method comprises the steps of: (a) contacting cell with a test material and then culturing it; (b) adding magnetic nano-particles having a diameter of 5-500 nanometers and selected from the group consisting of magnetite, maghemite, soft ferromagnetic bead, cobalt and copper to the culture material and then culturing it so as to allow viable cell to absorb the magnetic nano-particles; (c) washing the magnetic nano-particles not absorbed by the cell in the culture material to remove it; and (d) applying magnetic field to the cell culture material to detect whether the magnetic nano-particles exist in the culture material or not.

본 고안은 반도체소자의 제조공정중 웨이퍼를 이송장비에 관한 것으로 특히 웨이퍼가 장착된 캐리어 카셋을 안전하게 이동 도는 보관을 위하여 사용되는 캐리어 박스에 관한 것으로, 캐리어가 삽입되는 공간을 갖는 수납부와 수납부를 덮어주는 커버를 구비하고, 상기수납부와 상기 커버가 중첩되는 부위의 수납부 외측면에 소정각도로 경사지게 형성한 체결홈과, 상기 걸림턱에 끼워지는 체결돌기를 갖는 손잡이를 커버에 힌지로 연결되고, 상기 걸림턱과 체결돌기의 접촉면에 부착된 극성이 서로 다른 소정크기의 영구자석을 포함하여, 자력에 의하여 수납부와 커버를 체결시켜 체결부위에서 마찰에 의한 파티클의 발생과 손상을 방지하여 장비의 내구성을 높이도록 한 것이다.
