    Abstract: Disclosed is a painless and needle-less drug delivery system which is a trans-dermal drug delivery system for injecting drug through skin by spraying liquid drug in a high speed microjet form having a fine diameter in order to inject the liquid drug into body without perforating skin by a syringe. The microjet drug delivery system provided from the present invention comprises: a pressure chamber having a predetermined accommodation space in which water is filled inside a closed space as a pressure generating liquid; a drug chamber which is arranged near the pressure chamber in order to accommodate the liquid drug inside the predetermined accommodation space, and in which a micro nozzle for microjet spraying the liquid drug to outside is formed; an elastic membrane arranged between the pressure chamber and the micro drug chamber; and a laser unit for generating bubbles inside the pressure generating liquid by irradiating the pressure generating liquid stored inside the pressure chamber with laser. Here, the laser unit of the present invention has laser beam having 2.8-3.0 μm of lasing wavelength. Especially, the laser unit uses Er:YAG laser having 2.9 μm wavelength.
