Abstract: 본 발명은 무선통신 시스템, 특히 무선 근거리 네트워크 시스템에서 응집된 매체 액세스 제어 프로토콜 데이터 유닛들의 전송 방법 및 그 시스템에 관한 것이다. 이러한 본 발명에 따르면, 매체접근제어 계층(MAC)은 상위 계층으로부터 전달된 서비스 데이터를 다수의 매체접근제어 패킷데이터유닛(MPDU)들로 분할하여 상기 분할된 다수의 MAC MPDU들을 구성하며, 순차적으로 배치된 상기 MAC MPDU들과 상기 MAC MPDU들을 구별하기 위한 경계 정보와 상기 MAC MPDU들의 전송 오류 여부를 확인하기 위한 응답 요청 정보를 하나의 전송 프레임을 구성하여 전송한다. 따라서, 본 발명은 무선 근거리 네트워크 시스템에서 서비스 영역을 확대하고, 전송 지연을 최소화하여 서비스 효율성을 증가시킨다.

Abstract: A method for transmitting aggregated MAC(Medium Access Control) MPDUs(MAC Packet Data Unit) in a WLAN(Wireless Local Area Network) system and a system therefor are provided to expand a wireless service area to transmit service data in the same power by aggregating a plurality of MAC frames to one transmission frame and transmitting the transmission frame. A method for transmitting aggregated MAC MPDUs in a WLAN system to transmit service data includes the steps of: dividing the service data transmitted from an upper layer into a plurality of MAC MPDUs(512,514,516); forming one transmission frame including the plurality of MPDUs, border information, and ACK(Acknowledged) request information; and adding one physical header to the transmission frame, and transmitting the added frame to a receiving side. The plurality of MPDUs is sequentially arranged. The border information discriminates each of the MPDUs. The ACK request information requests a received result of the MPDUs.
