    Abstract: A link adaptation system using a doppler frequency and a method thereof are provided to determine an SNR interval by using the doppler frequency, thereby reducing the number of measuring SNR. A link adaptation system comprises a doppler frequency prediction unit(310), an SNR prediction interval determination unit(320), an SNR(Signal to Noise Ratio) measurement unit(330) and an MCS(Modulation Coding Scheme) level selection unit(340). The doppler frequency prediction unit predicts a doppler frequency of a signal transmitted through a radio channel.
