Abstract: A multicast/broadcast service providing system AND a method thereof are provided to determine the expected arrival area of a user terminal by predicting the prospective location of the terminal. An arrival-expected zone determining unit(510) predicts the prospective location of a moving user terminal and determines the expected arrival area of the user terminal. A path generating unit(520) generates a candidate multicast path including one relay node which is included in the expected arrival area. A data transmission unit(530) delivers data to the relay node through the generated candidate multicast path.
