Abstract: An intelligent video display method for a multimedia mobile terminal is provided to catch exactly videos where an object appears smaller in a soccer game video and display only an interested region existing in the soccer game video, so that viewers can easily understand the soccer game video. An intelligent video display method for a multimedia mobile terminal comprises the following steps of: determining a type of a camera shot existing in a sports video(S240); determining an interested region within the video frame of the sports video when the type of the camera shot is determined as a remote shot and enlarging the determined interested region, and displaying the enlarged interested region on the mobile terminal(S270,S280); and displaying the entire video frame on the mobile terminal when the type of the camera shot is determined as a non-remote shot(S290).
