Abstract: PURPOSE: A coating composition for bicycle roads, a construction method using thereof, and the bicycle roads using thereof are provided to reduce the possibility of safety accidents due to the condition of the bicycle roads, and to decrease the thermal island effect during the summer time. CONSTITUTION: A coating composition for bicycle roads contains 80~90wt% of paint, and 2~20wt% of powdered PVC chips. The paint includes 20~30wt% of water-soluble acrylic emulsion resin, 5~20wt %of pigment, 1~5wt% of plasticizer, 1~5wt% of emulsifier, and 40~60wt% of water. The specific gravity of the PVC chips is 1.3~1.5.
