Abstract: PURPOSE: A barcode extracting method is provided to accurately extract a barcode area where is arranged at various angles by setting up an outermost coordinate of a boundary block. CONSTITUTION: An obtained image is divided into blocks having the same size(S110). The color information of blocks is extracted(S120). The blocks within the obtained image are divided into a removed block, an edge block, and an internal block according to a condition(S150). Outer coordinates are set up through a location coordinate of the boundary blocks(S170).

Abstract: PURPOSE: An identification code scanning confirmation system and a control method are provided to determine an identification code with two steps, thereby accurately determining normal scanning. CONSTITUTION: A first sensor (110) is mounted on an entrance of a counter and outputs a first sensing signal by sensing products on the counter. A second sensor (112) is mounted on an exit of the counter and outputs a second sensing signal by sensing the products on the counter. A sound sensor (130) outputs a sound signal of sensing sounds which are generated in the counter. A control device sores a normal scanning sound of a scanner. The control device determines normal scanning of identification codes for the products on the counter by using the sound signal, the normal scanning sound, the first sensing signal, and the second sensing signal.
