    Abstract: PURPOSE: A Mn-Cr layered double hydroxide(ldh), a manufacturing method thereof and a photocatalyst including the same are provided to absorb light including ultraviolet ray and/or visible ray and/or near-infrared radiation region by including manganese ion and chromium ion at a specific ratio. CONSTITUTION: A Mn-Cr layered double hydroxide(ldh) has layered double hydroxide structure which includes Mn and Cr cation. The manganese - chrome layer double hydroxide is represented by general equation 1. The general equation 1 is same as follow: (Mnl+1-xCrm+x(OH)2) K + (An-) k / n ·pH2O. In the general equation 1, Mnl+ indicates divalent, trivalent, tetravalent, hexavalent, or heptavalent manganese cation or a combination of the manganese cation. An- indicates monovalent or multi-valent negative ion. K indicates (m-l) x + l -2, X is greater than 0 and less than 1, and p indicates 0-10. A manufacturing method of the manganese - chrome layer double hydroxide comprises the following step: mixing and coprecipitating solution 1 and solution 2. The solution 1 is a solution which includes the manganese precursor and chrome precursor. The solution 2 indicates a solution including base and inorganic anionic precursor.
