    Abstract: PURPOSE: A method of manufacturing porous carbon particles and the porous carbon particles manufactured using the same are provided to manufacture the porous carbon particles in short time by an easy and economic process, and to control the size and distribution of pores by the manufacturing purpose of the porous carbon particles through controlling the kinds and concentration of a monomers forming copolymer. CONSTITUTION: A method of manufacturing porous carbon particles comprises: a step of forming copolymer particles including one more particles which contain a second polymer within a particle containing a first polymer; a step of crosslinking the first polymer contained in the copolymer; and a step of carbonizing the linked first copolymer, and selectively removing the second polymer. The first polymer is formed by the polymerization of aromatic monomers. The aromatic monomer is selected from the group consisting of styrene, benzamide, butylene terephthalate, ethylene terephthalate, and their combination. The second polymer is formed by polymerization of non-aromatic monomers. The non-aromatic monomers are selected from the group consisting of methylmethacrylate, acrylate, acrylamide, acrylonitrile, vinyl halide, ethylene, propylene, butylenes, and their combination.
