Abstract: PURPOSE: A composition containing milk protein with excellent biological absorption is provided to ensure biological safety and to enhance bone weight and strength. CONSTITUTION: A composition for preventing and treating osteoporosis contains milk protein as an active ingredient. The milk protein contains 40-80 wt% of proteins, 20-40 wt% of ash, and remaining amount of carbohydrate, crude fat, and moisture. A health food for preventing and treating osteoporosis contains the composition and is manufactured in the form of powder, tablets, capsules, pills, granules, or liquid.
