Abstract:
PURPOSE: A user selecting device in a multi-cell multi-user environment and a method thereof are provided to increase transmission rates in the multi-cell multi-user environment by considering interference on a neighboring cell. CONSTITUTION: An interference information collecting unit(120) obtains interference channel information from a feedback signal received from a terminal of a neighboring cell. A vector output unit(130) calculates a transmission beam vector based on the interference channel information and channel response information. A parameter generation unit(140) generates a transmission rate prediction parameter which predicts the increase of a transmission rate within the cell based on the interference channel information, the transmission beam vector, and the channel response information. A user association determination unit(150) determines a user association which maximizes the transmission rate within the cell by using the transmission prediction parameter.
