    Abstract: PURPOSE: An enthalpy relief valve for incompressible flow using an SMA(Shape-Memory Alloy) spring is provided to have a simple control device because the stability of a plant is increased by applying the enthalpy relief valve to a system of which enthalpy should be constantly maintained. CONSTITUTION: A check valve system reacts with various pressures corresponding to temperatures using an SMA spring and a stainless steel spring. The check valve system is opened within a temperature range in which the elasticity coefficient of the SMA spring changes. The check valve system is operated in a state that the deformation pressure of the stainless steel spring is about 0.1 MPa. The SMA spring and a plate are coupled by bolts and nuts.
