    Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for preparing a metal oxide-carbon nanocomposite material is provided to obtain a nanocomposite material in which metal oxide nanoparticles of uniform size is uniformly dispersed on a carbon substrate by heating a mixture of nanoparticles containing metal oxyhydroxide or metal oxide with carbon precursors. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing a metal oxide-carbon nanocomposite material comprises the steps of: treating a mixture of nanoparticles(10) containing metal oxyhydroxide or metal oxide with carbon precursors in a pressure condition lower than a normal pressure to form an organic coating layer(20) surrounding the nanoparticles; and heating the nanoparticles surrounded by the organic coating layer to form metal oxide nanoparticle(15) surrounded by a carbon substrate(25).
