Abstract: 본 발명은 추적하고자 하는 대상 물체에서 송출되는 무선 신호의 세기를 복수의 고정 노드에서 수신하고, 수신된 이동 노드에 대한 신호 세기에 기초하여 대상 물체의 위치를 파악하고 또한 카메라를 이용하여 대상 물체의 위치를 결정할 수 있도록 하는 위치 추적 시스템 및 위치 추적 장치에 관한 것이다.
대상 물체에서 송출되는 무선 신호의 신호 세기와 카메라를 이용함으로써, 한정된 공간 영역 내에서의 정확히 대상 물체의 위치를 파악할 수 있고, 대상 물체의 위치의 이동 경로를 영상을 포함하여 파악할 수 있는 장점을 제공한다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A position tracking system and a position tracking apparatus are provided to verify the position of a target object based on the strength of a signal with respect to mobile nodes and to determine the position of the target object using a camera. CONSTITUTION: A position tracking system includes mobile nodes(100), a plurality of fixed nodes(200), cameras(300), and a base station(400). The mobile nodes transmit wireless signals. The fixed nodes measure the strength of the wireless signals and transmit the measured strength of the signals. The cameras photograph images from the mobile node. The base station receives the measured strength of the signals from the fixed nodes and determines the position of the mobile nodes. The base station receives and stores the images from the camera according to the determined position of the mobile nodes.
