Abstract: 본 발명은 IDS 유전자가 포함된 식물체 개화 촉진용 조성물에 관한 것으로, 구체적으로 본 발명은 아이소펜테닐 이인산 합성효소(IDS, isopentenyl diphosphate synthase)(또는 HDR, 1-hydroxy-2-methyl-2-(
E )-butenyl 4-diphosphate reductase) 유전자를 포함하는 식물체 개화 촉진용 조성물, 상기 유전자와 상기 유전자를 과발현시키기 위한 프로모터를 삽입하여 식물체의 개화를 촉진시키는 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 IDS 유전자는 개화 유도와 관련된 유전자의 발현을 촉진하고 개화 억제와 관련된 유전자의 발현은 억제하여 개화를 촉진시킬 수 있으며, 특히 개화 시점에 잎 수도 증가시켜, 상기 유전자가 포함된 조성물은 개화 촉진용 조성물로 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A composition containing IDS genes for promoting flowering in a plant is provided to promote the expression of a gene associated with flowering and to enhance the number of leaves. CONSTITUTION: A composition for promoting flowering in a plant contains IDS(ispentenyl diphosphate synthase) gene. The composition IDS gene and transformed vector containing a promoter for overexpression IDS gene or a microorganism transformed with the transformed vector. The microorganism is Agrobacterium tumefaciens. The IDS gene is derived from Arabidopsis thaliana, Ginkgo biloba, Pinus taeda, or E.coli. The IDS gene is denoted by sequence number 1 or 2.
