Abstract: The present invention relates to an antibiotic composition containing erythorbyl laurate as an active ingredient and usage thereof. The erythorbyl laurate of the present invention is confirmed to have antibacterial activities against Gram-positive bacteria, thereby being added to food, cosmetics, and feed as an antimicrobial agent, and being used as a hand sanitizer or other medicine forms for external application.
