    Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for producing an ultra-hydrophobic polymer fabrication is provided to use the ultra-hydrophobic surface of the polymer applied to various-shaped objects. CONSTITUTION: An ultra-hydrophobic polymer fabrication represents a nano-sized fiber fabrication with the surface of micron-sized single layer thereon. The polymer is a thermoplastic polymer. The thermoplastic polymer is selected from the group consisting of: polyester including polyethylene terephthalate(PET), the polytrimethylene terephthalate(PTT), polybutylene terephthalate(PBT), and polyethylene naphthalate(PEN); polyalkylene including polyethylene(PE) and polypropylene(PP); vinyl polymer including polyvinylchloride(PVC); polyamide; polyacetal; polyacrylate including polymethyl metacrylate(PMMA); polycarbonate; polystyrene; polyurethane; acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer(ABS); halogenated polyalkylene; and polyarylene oxides and polyarylene sulphide.

    Abstract: 초소수성 폴리머 구조물(superhydrophobic polymer fabrication)의 제조 방법, 그에 따라 제조된 식각된 주형 및 초소수성 폴리머 구조물이 개발되었다. 상기 방법을 이용하면 쉽고 빠르게 초소수성 폴리머 구조물을 제조할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 주형을 이용하여 반복적으로 초소수성 표면을 찍어낼 수 있으므로 초소수성 폴리머 구조물을 대면적으로 대량생산할 수 있어 경제적이다.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a super-hydrophobic polymer structure is provided to mass-produce the super-hydrophobic polymer structure by repetitively imprinting the super-hydrophobic surface using a template. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a super-hydrophobic polymer structure comprises the following steps: forming a micron-sized terrace structure, and a nano-sized groove structure inside the terrace structure on the surface of a template using a chemical etching; applying heat and pressure to the etched template after locating a polymer to replicate a polymer structure from the template; and separating the transferred polymer structure from the template.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A nanoparticle composite is provided to effectively protect nanoparticles from moisture and/or the oxygen from the outside. CONSTITUTION: A nanoparticle composite contains nanoparticles(10) and a protection film. The nanoparticle contains a compound semiconductor. A protection film covers the nanoparticles and contains metal oxide. The protection film is deposited on the outside of the nanoparticles.
