Abstract: Provided is a benzothiadiazole derivative compound represented by chemical formula 1 according to an aspect of the present invention. In chemical formula 1, R1, R2, and Ar1 refer to the detailed description of the present invention. An organic solar cell including the benzothiadiazole derivative compound can have high optical conversion efficiency, thermal stability, and wide visible light absorption domains.
