Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of performing a multiple input multiple output (MIMO) in a wireless network and an apparatus therefor. Specifically, the present invention relates to the method and the apparatus therefor of which a radio unit (RU) receives data from a digital unit (DU); receives precoding information from the DU; precodes the data using the precoding information; and transmits the precoded data through multiple antennas, wherein the RU and the DU are remotely located from each other.
