Abstract: PURPOSE: A method and a device for sensing oyster in a mud flat are provided to grasp a habitat and a growth condition of the oyster in a short time. CONSTITUTION: A method for sensing oyster in a mud flat is as follows. After oscillating microwaves to the mud flat, a habitat and a growth condition of the oyster are estimated by using a difference of the extent of the microwaves scattered on the surface of the oyster. A frequency of one of the microwaves is 5.5-6.0 cm. A frequency of one of the microwaves is 24 cm.
