Abstract: PURPOSE: A transgenic plant with enhanced stress resistance and a method for preparing the same are provided to enhance the yield of crops and to detect a novel stress resistant gene. CONSTITUTION: A plant with enhanced stress resistance is prepared by transforming with a recombinant vector containing an Oryza sativa-derived RAF(root abundant factor) gene, OsRAF. The stress is ABA(abscisic acid), drought, bacterial diseases, salicylic acid, or methyl jasmonate. A method for preparing a transgenic plant with enhanced stress resistance comprises: a step of transforming a plant cell with the recombinant vector; and a step of redifferentiating the transgenic plant. A composition for enhancing transcription activity contains a protein having 59 C-terminal amino acids.
