Abstract: PURPOSE: A searching system for the information about drug harmful reaction and a method thereof are provided to allow a user to easily and rapidly analyze the information about the drug harmful reaction and to observe the change of a clue information index reflected in real time for efficient and instinctive analysis by searching the clue information and determining whether the clue information exists based on a plurality of the clue information indexes with adverse event information generated by searching a code of insurance claim data. CONSTITUTION: A data receiving unit receives one or more insurance claim data comprised of a code related to drug harmful reaction (S201). An adverse event information generating unit generates one or more adverse event information by searching one or more the code of insurance claim data (S202). A creating unit of a frequency table of the adverse event information creates the frequency table of the adverse event information by using one or more adverse event information (S203). A clue information index calculation unit calculates a plurality of clue information indexes by using the adverse event information and the frequency table of the same (S204). A clue information determining unit determines whether the clue information exists on one or more adverse event information based on a plurality of the clue information indexes (S205). A clue information searching unit searches the clue information determined in the clue information determining unit (S206).
