Abstract: PURPOSE: A composition containing ninjurin activation inhibitors is provided to induce nerve cell and/or endothelial cell growth and to prevent and/or treat impotence. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for regenerating nerve cells or endothelial cells in penis contains ninjurin activation inhibitors as an active ingredient. The inhibitor is a ninjurin blocking antibody. A pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating impotence contains the inhibitor as an active ingredient and a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. A method for preventing or treating diseases caused by nerve cell or endothelial cell damage comprises a step of administering the inhibitor to an individual.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for treating or preventing obsessive compulsive disorder including the antagonist of N-Methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptor as an active ingredient. More specifically, in the present invention, provided is a pharmaceutical composition for treating and/or preventing the obsessive compulsive disorder caused by Ninjurin 1 deficiency by using memantine or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof.
