A manual/automatic driving unit comprises a guide, an input unit, an output unit, a moving unit, an operating unit, a power control unit(11), a mechanical two-way clutch, and a mechanical control unit. The moving unit is moved by torque received from the operating unit or the input unit. The mechanical control unit has an inner wheel, an outer wheel, a space, a stopping member, an output unit, a two-way locking unit, and a releasing unit. The inner and the outer wheels are aligned on the same shaft. The two-way locking unit locks a circumferential surface and a cam surface to prevent two-way rotation of the output unit. The releasing unit is operated by the mechanical control unit.
