Abstract: A vehicle detecting sensor using microbending of optical fiber and a vehicle detecting device using the same are provided to improve durability of optical fiber because a core is not influenced in a microbending although a top plate is moved down. A vehicle detecting sensor(1) using a microbending of optical fiber comprises optical fiber(30), a bottom plate(20), and a top plate(10). The bottom plate has a first body(23), a plurality of first protrusions(21), and a first groove(22). The first protrusions are protruded from the first body, and are separately arranged each other. The first groove is formed on the first protrusion in order to load the optical fiber. The top plate has a second body(13), a second protrusion(11), and a second groove(12). The second protrusion is protruded from the second body. The second groove is formed in a bottom of the second protrusion in order to load the second protrusion on the optical fiber. The top plate is moved toward the bottom plate side by pressure of a top side.
