    Abstract: A method for reasoning a spatiotemporal location of a moving object based on path data is provided to obtain time information for a destination or predetermined location, and reason the destination, a path, the location after a predetermined time, and a location arrival time of the moving user by analyzing past paths of the moving user. Past paths of a moving user are collected. A matching degree is measured among the past paths. The matched path is selected among all past paths by using the matching degree and data for the unmatched paths is excluded. Similarity between the path until a current path and path data of the selected matched path is measured to analyze moving property of the moving user. A spatiotemporal location of the moving user is reasoned based on the similarity. A suitable path of which the similarity is included in a similarity threshold is selected. A representative path representing the path among the selected paths is selected. A spatiotemporal reasoning service is provided to the moving user based on the selected path.
