    Abstract: PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of chiral hemiester is provided to manufacture chiral hemiesters with high optical purity in very short time. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of chiral hemiester comprises a step of reacting meso-cyclic acid anhride with nucleophile in organic solvent under the presence of bifunctional organic chiral catalyst in chemical formula 1 or 2. In chemical formula 1 or 2, Y and Y' are an organic group including quinuclidine moiety, and same or different each other. Z and Z' is a substituted or non-substituted quinoline group, and same or different each other. Ar is a substituted or non-substituted aryl group, or a substituted or non-substituted heteroaryl group, and n is the integer of 1-6.
