    Abstract: A context-awareness framework for ubiquitous computing middleware is provided to generate high level context and offer a service suitable for characteristic of a user based on the high level context by enabling a context-awareness middleware to generate/process various context information through integration, inference, and learning of the sensed context information. A context describing module manages the context information obtained from sensors. A context normalizing module converts the sensed context information into a normalized structure. A context integrating module integrates the sensed context information received from the context normalizing module. A context inferring module infers the high level context information from the sensed low level context information. A context filtering module selects and stores only the useful context information to a database. A content learning module obtains the learned context information based on the information stored in the database. An event triggering module automatically issues a command for action or event for safety or convenience of the user.
